Terms of Service
Effective 7 November 2026 · Version 2.0In one paragraph
Skarrow gives you a private workspace to search 21 employment platforms and organize the results. You are responsible for using it lawfully and respecting the boards' own terms; paid plans, where enabled, are billed through Stripe; the service presents board data as-is; and these terms define what the service does and does not promise.
1.Definitions
- Service
- The Skarrow website and the authenticated workspace at /app, including the search console, saved jobs, applications, alerts, account settings and data export.
- Boards
- The third-party employment platforms the Service queries: Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, Bayt, Naukri, BDJobs, HelloWork, StepStone, Arbeitnow, EnglishJobs.de, Built In, Reed, Dice, Workopolis, SponsorApply, GetGlobalJob, Jora (AU), Visa Sponsor Jobs, VisaJobsDaily and Xing.
- Workspace
- The private area created for your account, holding your search history, saved jobs, applications, alerts and settings.
- Operator
- The person or organization operating this deployment of the Service.
2.The service
The Service queries the Boards you select with one search configuration, normalizes the returned listings into a single dataset, and helps you organize them: saved jobs with notes, an application pipeline, and scheduled search alerts that announce new listings. The Service presents exactly what the Boards returned at query time. It does not generate, validate or curate listings, salaries or statistics, and unknown values are shown as missing rather than estimated.
3.Accounts
- An account is required to use the workspace. Registration asks for a name, an email address and a password; you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep your credentials secure.
- Each account holds one private workspace. Content you create belongs to your workspace and is not visible to other customers.
- You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Tell the team immediately through the contact form if you suspect unauthorized use.
- You may stop using the Service at any time. Accounts are not self-deleted from the interface; closure requests submitted through the workspace are completed by the Operator (see the Privacy Policy, §10).
4.Your content
Notes, applications, saved searches and other content you create remain yours. You grant Skarrow only the limited right to store and display that content within your workspace in order to operate the Service. You must have the right to the content you store, and you must not store unlawful material or personal data of third parties who have not consented.
5.Acceptable use
- Respect the Boards. Listings come from third-party platforms, each with its own terms of service and rate limits. Use Skarrow the way you would a browser: for discovering and comparing opportunities, not for harvesting. Do not use the Service to circumvent a Board's technical controls or terms.
- No abuse of the Service. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, access other customers' data or accounts, bypass plan limits, quotas, session controls or security mechanisms, probe or scan the deployment for vulnerabilities, or drive automated traffic against the site outside the product's own interfaces.
- No unlawful or infringing use. Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to distribute malicious code.
- No bulk redistribution. Aggregating listings for your own job search is the Service's purpose. Republishing or selling scraped datasets is your responsibility to justify against the Boards' terms and applicable law.
- Compliance is your responsibility. Your use of the Boards through Skarrow must comply with their terms and any law that applies to you.
6.Plans, billing and Stripe
- The Free plan is available at no charge. The limits shown inside the workspace and on the pricing page are the limits the server enforces.
- Paid plans activate only through verified payment flows. Where billing is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK/Europe or Stripe, Inc. as an independent payment processor; Skarrow stores subscription status and identifiers only, never card numbers or payment credentials.
- Paid subscriptions are charged on the interval shown at checkout and continue until cancelled. You can cancel through the Stripe billing portal, linked from the workspace's billing pages; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — the time already paid is not lost, and access continues until that date.
- Refunds for billing errors are handled through Stripe's dispute and refund tooling; contact the team first and it will be put right where the error is confirmed. Statutory refund rights are not limited by these terms.
- Prices shown while paid plans are in preparation are indicative and are not an offer. Failed or reused searches do not consume quota (refunds are automatic where the engine records them).
7.Employment boards and third-party data
Listings, salaries, dates and counts are reproduced as the Boards returned them at query time. The Service does not validate listings and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or continued existence on the original Boards. Following a link to the original listing subjects you to that Board's own terms and privacy policy. Boards may rate-limit, block or change their platforms at any time; the Service reports such failures honestly per board and does not compensate for data a Board did not return.
8.Availability
The Service depends on third-party Boards and infrastructure outside Skarrow's control. Maintenance and external failures may interrupt availability. No specific uptime level is promised in these terms; status and per-board reliability are visible in the workspace.
9.Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy of data. Skarrow does not warrant that search results will be complete, accurate, current or that a Board will not remove or alter a listing after it is returned. Nothing in these terms is job, career, legal or immigration advice.
10.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skarrow and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunities, profits or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or, for free accounts, to zero beyond what law requires).
11.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Skarrow against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of a Board's terms or applicable law, or content you store in the workspace.
12.Suspension and termination
Accounts may be suspended for violation of these terms (for example abusive automated access, attempts to access other customers' data, or circumventing plan limits). Suspension is a reversible state; the workspace's data is preserved while an account is suspended. You may stop using the Service and request closure at any time (Privacy Policy §10). Skarrow may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where operation becomes impracticable.
13.Privacy
Data collection, storage, sessions, exports and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
14.Miscellaneous
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Skarrow's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and Skarrow regarding the Service. The governing law and venue for disputes are those of the Operator's principal place of business; mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected by this choice.
15.Changes to these terms
Material changes take effect from the updated date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. The current text is always the one published on this page.
